30 Day Photo Challenge

Okay so this is the deal. I have decided to do this 30 Day Photo Challenge. Each day has a different subject. I find the picture and write a short description. Knowing me, though, the description won't be short. hahahahaha. And so it begins...

Day 1 - A photo of your birthplace.

I was born on the second floor at Washington Hospital in Fremont, California.

Day 2 - If I wasn't me, who or what would I be?

If I wasn't me, I'd be a princess. Lame as it may sound, that is all I've ever wanted to be.

Day 3 - Where I go to escape the world

When I need to escape the world, there are 2 places I go to.

Pismo Beach is where Wade lives. This is where I went after I left Erik. This is place is like a tonic to my soul. There's something in the ocean air that rejuvenates me and I feel like I am home.

The second place I go to escape the world to straight to my Guardian Angel, Nicole Miller, at the United Flight 93 Memorial in Union City. Some people find this a strange "escape" but I do not. The cool touch her marble marker is like a touchstone. It is almost like seeing her million dollar "sparkly like a holiday" smile...being there almost gives me that same "everything is going to be alright" feeling that seeing her beautiful face once gave me. The marble calms my nerves like nothing else in this world.

Day 4 - Look into my eyes, you'll see...

The same look of wonder that I had as a child. Since I left Erik, it's almost as if I'm seeing things for the first time and it's simply amazing.

Day 5 - On my day off, my favorite thing to do.

Until recently, my days off were few and far between. But when I did get one, there was one thing I loved to do more than anything else in the world...spend time with my boys. Unfortunately, I rarely get to spend time with them all at the same time.

Day 6 - The first thing I'd buy if I won lotto.

I'd buy a car so I could go pick up my kids.

Day 7 - One person in history I'd like to spend a day with.

I'd like to spend the day with Princess Diana. She was a real life fairy tale princess and I was devastated when she died.

Day 8 - Look into my heart, you'll see...

You'll see that despite my rough exterior, I am a person with a heart as big as the sky.

Day 9 - My favorite food.

Beef stroganoff...with top sirloin, not hamburger!!!

Day 10 - If I could go back into my past, what event would I revisit?

I would definitely go back to Orlando. More specifically, RTC Orlando. Crazy, I know. But it was great!!!

Day 11 - My best friend, and why I love them.

I am lucky that I have more than one. They all have one thing in common, though. They know the REAL me and they still love me. :)
